arty909 0 Posted November 19, 2009 Not sure what I am trying to accomplish here other than to show off 'what once was'. I saw the photobucket 'bulk uploader' option so I thought I'd give it a try. Here are some stock photos saved to my PC of some of the Gen models I had owned from time to time (I was and still am, a vintage model enthusiast). Back when money was tight (still is for my tastes actually:); I would buy a watch I liked the looks of and wear it for a few months, then sell it to fund another. This idiocy stopped when I moved cross-country and sold my remaning three for a nice little chunk of moving money- about five years ago. Immediately thereafter, I discovered Reps and now I am stuck in a 'rep-rut'. Enough of my life story- anyone own or owned any of these? I didn't post stock photos of my six or seven Rollies, maybe some other time... Ciao, Arty
arty909 0 Posted November 19, 2009 (edited) mmm moonwatch Yes, 'twas one of my faves. Nothing around here that even comes close far as I'm concerned... paid $550 in 1989, sold it to fund a 1990 'Plymouth Laser'- big mistake... AllergyDoc 40 Posted November 19, 2009 Arty, You once owned ALL of these watches? Are any of the pics yours?
houndoggie 58 Posted November 19, 2009 Great watches!! I have never heard of the Bulova Oceanographer before. I have been looking for a 70's diver and everything is soooo expensive nowadays for a vintage. SOOOO... I just checked ebay and got one (the Bulova) as a buy it now for $160.. less than I would have for period Seiko... Thanks for costing me money!
arty909 0 Posted November 19, 2009 Arty, You once owned ALL of these watches? Are any of the pics yours? Nope, none are my photos. How about 'all of the watches seen in these borrowed photos'. I was hoping to make that clear... I was in my 20s in the eighties and didn't own a digital camera. Here is a link to one that WAS my photo- from my first HP scanner- scroll to the bottom post... http://www.vintagezodiacs.com/watchstories.php That was me, and that was mine... greg_r 84 Posted November 19, 2009 I had a Bulova Oceanographer once many years ago. It was rather troublesome so I sold it on fairly quickly. Good looking watch, though...

Good God in heaven, you might as well say you traded Miss America for Rosie O'Donnell and a one year supply of Dunkin Donuts! Ouch. (very nice "collection" BTW. good taste.)
