jeffw69 0 Posted June 23, 2012 Thgere is a member here named Del, who did a strap change on his 292. I believe that if you search in the Panerai section, you will find it.

onionbag 1 Posted June 24, 2012 I'd advise using the 'sconehead' sellotape method, place a small piece of sellotape over each screw. This will help you control the screw if it comes out, and also help to avoid scratching the polished surface of the caseback. Please note that the screws only need to be loosened, not removed completely. Hope this helps.
risenshine85 0 Posted June 24, 2012 Thanks a lot guys. I just saw in the video... that the screws just need to be losened. Why do I keep hearing that everyone who tries to change straps on this watch has either of the following problems: 1. chips the ceramic 2. chips the screwhead 3. screws are lose, and do not catch on lug bars. Is it that hard? If it is, maybe I'll just leave it alone! ...if experienced folks couldn't change it without causing an issue... I am sure I'll screw it up. Arism 26 Posted June 24, 2012 (edited) I replied to this same topic over on RWI. Sconey's tutorial ---> Changing Radiomir Straps The same tutorial applies for the 292. It is a simple process but with all watch related 'fixes'; changing straps, opening casebacks, care should be taken as to not accidently damage(cosmetically or mechanically) the watch. Be confident in your abilities! The watch isn't going to crumble and turn to dust if you change straps or open the caseback.
