ALE7575 24 Posted June 28, 2012 Hello friends, It is a pleasure for me to greet all RWG members. I am from Madrid (Spain). I am an engineer and my interests are: watches, astronomy, HIFI audio, golf, music and playing piano, accordion and organ. I belong to RWG from 16-Mar-2011. But during this time I am just visiting the forum web, studying how it works and its norms and rules. Congratulations for the knowledge level and friendly atmosphere at RWG forum. I’m an active member in RWI forum. I would wish share with RWG people the link of an interesting thread I have started in RWI: “Reference PAM REVIEW-GUIDE” – Replica Search, Identification, Evaluation & Selection http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/reference-pam-review-107365.html?t=107365 (Sticky-"Exceptional Watch Review" Award) This link is already published here in RWG by “jewff69” in the thread Ultimate guide to PANERAI Many Thanks for your attention ALE If you are interested in other threads I have started in RWI forum, see below: “SWAN NECK” (Part I) – What is this? DFH 0 Posted June 28, 2012 Hey Ale! Your reputation precedes you... Big fan of your RWI ratings and reviews - our friend Jeff here shared your latest Panerai masterwork with us the other day - incredibly valuable for all of us as reference and research material, especially the PAM freaks! Thank you for one of the best and most informational threads I have ever seen on a forum... Welcome to RWG!!! Great to have you here...
machiavegli 6 Posted June 28, 2012 I'm still reading... thanks for the weeks/months you put into this Ale, will use for all my future purchases -Mach
machiavegli 6 Posted June 28, 2012 For other readers reading Ale's guide for the first time, there are a lot of reviews mentioning that the highest quality reps are from DSN, especially with correct caseback engravings. Just to clarify, DSN = Davidsen = TD on RWI Davidsen does both homage watches and replicas. Davidsen's Homage ("Hommage") blog: http://davidsen-homm...h.blogspot.com/ Davidsen's dealer section on RWI: http://www.replica-w...en-45.html?f=45 Davidsen's Photobucket accounts: http://photobucket.c.../e230/watchmmx/ http://s1113.photobu...515/dsnwatches/ You can order from Davidsen via his email: [email protected] I have not used him myself but reports on other fora (hear that, Burning Rubber? FORA) say communication is rapid and quality fantastic. Again, not a TD here... yet? -Mach
gtwc 1 Posted June 28, 2012 Welcome. This is probably the greatest 1st post ever !!!! I look forward to now reading all your Pam stuff on RWI (spend nearly all my time, not there - but I'll break a habit and make an exception in your case). You'll love it here. Knowing so much about Pams as you do, Greg_R will probably want to be a penpal !!
kolchak 17 Posted June 29, 2012 amazing work Ale. I bought a used 177 last year & would now like to determine maker - is there a reference tool to identify factory by case markings?.

ALE7575 24 Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) amazing work Ale. I bought a used 177 last year & would now like to determine maker - is there a reference tool to identify factory by case markings?. If your watch is M-series likely is an H maker ( a Super rep), if it is H-series maybe is a DSN (Davidsen) (First class rep) . If it is other year series surely is an average or low class rep.
