digger2 0 Posted June 29, 2012 Mmm nice. Like that, is the bezel slightly raised? Not so much but the glass is 6mm thick, it was hard to get the reps a while ago (I bought the gen) but now maybe they are available again. Here is a video that shows the gen http://www.youtube.c...h?v=6iEjs5IwSmA

seclark007 11 Posted June 29, 2012 I would say any Seiko diver if you want to spend up to about three hundred...then Marathon if you want to go up to about eight hundred...

trailboss99 996 Posted June 29, 2012 Seiko Orange / Black Monster. Bulletproof. +1 On a Monster but if budget is a touch lower look for a Ballistic - I have one and its as tough as fu*k. See the you tube videos of the abuse it can take and mine has had some and is good as new. +1 again. Monster (my beater) for a mechanical and for a "can't destroy it" watch as long as you don't mind quartz a Ballistic can't be beat.
trailboss99 996 Posted June 29, 2012 Suunto That too but the style is not to everyone's taste.
sms 0 Posted June 29, 2012 Not sure where you would find one of these, but it is built like a tank. The Germans' reputation for over engineering is well deserved with this monster. I just picked it up from Dendo a few weeks ago.

540i 0 Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) Doxa Watch, It would take you a half hour with a hammer to hurt it. http://www.doxawatch...dial_choice.htm And for cheap there are quite a few Invictas that work. Edited June 29, 2012 by 540i

mrs1986 0 Posted June 29, 2012 (edited) What do you need to do with your watch?? It will take so much abuse or is just a way to ask?? I mean, are you going to hit it with a hammer all day??? If not, get a watch that you like for cheap... like a submariner or something like that... I gave a submariner ceramic to my brother and is still alive, and believe me, he is a SOB with things, i borrowed to him just for a few hours an orient mako and he returned it to me all scratched, and the darn sub is like new after a couple of months....
