For the first time, the Manufacture has enhanced its elegant Girard-Perregaux

1966 collection with an exclusively feminine model. Combining graceful

proportions with a self-winding movement, this highly refined watch possesses

the authentic charm of a timeless classic.

 

Pure lines, a combination of precious materials and a sophisticated calibre: the

Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady concentrates on the essential features to meet the

demands of a refined clientele, with just as much interest in the timepiece’s highly

researched design as in its mechanical quality.

 

Unostentatiously alluring, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady expresses the discreet

luxury of items meticulously created by skilful master craftsmen, using fine materials.

Its pink gold case emphasises the natural mother-of-pearl dial, the iris reflections of

which echo the brilliance of the diamonds adorning the bezel.

 

Each detail has been designed to contribute to an overall harmony: the time is

indicated by a combination of Roman numerals and “baton“ and diamond indexes,

while thin “leaf†hands run round the dial. This extreme attention paid to the

components extends to the whole watch, as is also demonstrated by the oscillating

weight visible on the back, engraved with “GP†patterns to form a tapestry decoration.

The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady is ideally suited to ladies’ wrist, with its 30

millimetre diameter and its self-winding GP3200 movement no more than 3.20

millimetres thick. The sapphire case-back reveals the beauty of the mechanism,

illustrating the Manufacture’s technical expertise.

 

Deliciously feminine, this creation gives the Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection a new

spark while remaining true to its mission: bringing together the functions and style of

a great watchmaking classic, which pays tribute to the Neuchâtel Observatory

Centenary Prize. It was awarded to the Brand in 1966 to celebrate Girard-

Perregaux´s achievements in the field of chronometry.
