movementservice

Recommended Posts

p-lund

hello out there ! i saw that trusty-time offers complete movement-service, and that made me very happy, cause i guess there´s many of us who´s been looking for a solution to this problem. my question is: does anyone of you have experience of his service, good or bad ? is there anyone else you can recommend who also offers this kind of service for a reasonable price ? thanks.

Andrew's watchmen are not "Swiss trained."

On RG, Rex advertises $50 for an easy service, more for chronos. Speedy G does them for $50-75, plus $9 for shipping.

Go with Speedy G.

I would call that reasonable.

Andrew has a watchsmith???

Andrew is a dropshipper, so, where's his watchsmith located? In Guangzhou factory? Or in Singapore, where Andrew lives?

BS.

that was my immediate thought too...

Speedy G in the US, or possibly Francisco or TomHighway in the EU.

+1 What Silverspeed said.

I've not used TomHighway myself (he's been around since the TRC days - you'll find him on RWGJr). From reports I've heard he does very good work but is extremely slow. From what Onze has said, Francisco is probably the go-to guy in the EU

Edit: I'd forgotten about Domenico. Heard very good reports of him too. Thanks, Silverspeed!

My local watchsmith has no problems working on a ETA2824/2836 or even clones

but he won't touch A7750's or do modding/lume

I am sure Andrew's MVT service is just as good as his waterproofing.

In other words, nonexistant! More BS and LWLs IMHO.

60 Euro for a regular watch, 90 for a chronograph.

10 euro shipping

+ the cost of parts necessary.
