Hi

i have a rep calibre 16 DD. 21.5mm i think it has the 2824 or 21j movement but im no pro know it all.. ;)

has a smooth seconds hand

During the day the watch keeps time and runs ok.

The next morning the watch will be behind by an 1hour.

Can this be adjusted to fix or is there no hope. Any ideas would be helpful

thank you

When you take off your watch, do you lay it flat on its back or on its side?

laying it on its back or side shouldn't matter. 1hour a night is pretty bad. Its only supposed to +1/-1 sec maybe a day. I understand that it keeps fine time during the day but it sounds like when it gets to a certain point on the power band that it starts losing time. Reason it doesn't lose time when you're wearing it is because your counter weight is keeping it wound.

Take it a local watch smith that is cool with working on reps and its an easy fix. Or see our TD section under mods & repairs CLS is located in the US and Wiz in the EU.

Hope I helped.

Odd....

This happens to me once a year in the spring, but strangely I get the reverse effect in the autumn (fall)......
