JLC Navy Seals Diver rep

Recommended Posts

jeffw69

This is the JLC Navy Seals Diver rep from Toro Bravo.

1st, the bracelet is really comfortable with a nicely closing double folding clasp.

For mine, the bezel clicks nice and tight. I have read reviews on RWI where it was sort of loose.

After being in the sun for a bit, I came inside and the lume was very bright.

As with many reps, lume doesn't last very long at that brightness.

I opted for the asian movement, so far seems good, will report back later on accuracy issues if any.

This is 42mm, for those wondering. What else can I say? It is definitely different looking, a change from Panerai and Rolex for sure.

Here are some pics:

I posted this in your other thread - this thing looks fantastic!

Back at it, are we??

Looks great - would love to see you review this one! Suggestion - get yourself a Micah Vintager French Canvas strap in olive drab - stunning look, and very water resistant.

The engraving on the caseback is really nice.

If I had a loupe, maybe I would see more issues, but who walks around with a loupe?

Seriously, looks good. Lume application is decent.

Nice one - bit of a mix of Rolex, Breitling and an extra bit of magic!

How does the 42mm size feel to you after wearing PAMs and Omegas? I really like it, but am worried about anything under 45mm...

Feels a bit weird, but not tiny like a submariner. Rubber bracelet makes it feel comfortable.

Honestly the 45mm PO and 47mm PAMs are the perfect size for me.

Cool!

I wonder, does the crown bother you when you fully extend your hand?

Jeff,

That does look nice.. i know there was a lot of debate at the outset about the pricing of these, all things considered, and given that you now have it , do you think the price reflects the quality of the build..

Yes, Yes, i know this is not an issue for you in that you bank a/c has more zeros than the jap airforce... :giggle: ( Banco de Jeff )

Love the pic BTW not a trace of pink insight ...

Dal..

 @ Dalboy.

IMO, the price is cool with me.

Hey, this is a brand new bracelet style.

Appears that a lot of work went into the little details.

Not knowing the costs involved from repping a watch from scratch, but I'm sure it wasn't a cheap undertaking to bring this out.

Very nice dude. I think this is the first review I've seen on this model. Does it live up to the anticipation?
