M4rtin 0 Posted July 19, 2012 Ok, if you say that Planet Ocean is better rep than 300 than I'll grab myself the PO as my first watch. I'm a little time constrain, leaving from canada to Europe for my wedding in 1 month, so I need to order asap. Now I guess I need a dealer for this one http://www.omegawatc...-ocean/22015000 For the Ultimate Planet Ocean (UPO) with ETA clone you will have to contact Mary/Rochest by email, but here is also great alternative with 4813 movement, like the one from Umpa's pics: http://www.rwg.bz/bo...opic=28921&st=0 Does the ETA clone and the one you linked look the same ? Any quick description on the movements differences for someone still learning ?

M4rtin 0 Posted July 19, 2012 Thank you, I'm actually suprised how helpfull and stress free this forum is. I was expecting more of a "go and read noob" responses, but I'm pleasently surprised and I'm getting quick into a decission, and can then relax and browse the forum and learn for myself while my watch is already on my way to me K, I'll contact Mary and see what she has to offer, wish me luck
Crusader 0 Posted July 19, 2012 (edited) Does the ETA clone and the one you linked look the same ? Any quick description on the movements differences for someone still learning ? See Jeff's link to the movements, it will explain a lot. But the answer to question is no, ETA looks diffrent then DG movements. PO has closed caseback, so that shouldn't be a problem. You only open it to fix something or to lube it. Edited July 19, 2012 by Crusader

M4rtin 0 Posted July 19, 2012 How's Silix rep for PO 42mm ? http://www.silix-prime.co/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=115_150_190&products_id=1627
Crusader 0 Posted July 19, 2012 Like the Greg always say, SIlix is great for cheapies, lots of choice, but for better reps or ultimates, it's better to go with Mary, Marvellousreplica or Toro.
M4rtin 0 Posted July 19, 2012 K, thx, still waiting patiently for Mary to reply. I think waiting makes me look too hard and find too many options
