rubdom 0 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) I can't seem to find the Skeleton tourby in full ceramic in stock anywhere except for $900+. What is the real advantage of ceramic over PVD? Trusty said the ceramic will be in stock again in about a month. Is it worth waiting for? Price is the same for both PVD case or Ceramic case $800. mianos 0 Posted July 25, 2012 The ceramic is more resistant to marks/scratches. If you scratch the ceramic you usually just have to rub off whatever you scratched it on from the case and don't end up with a permanent mark. ps. it's a great watch, I picked up a gold one for a friend of mine, it is only worth the best price you want to pay but when you get it you will be amazed. Even thought the design is only 'homage' as the real watch is a minute repeater, the design is so nice and the movement is even nicer in reality than photos.
