Del 4,436 Posted July 27, 2012 UPDATED 15th August:- Yes folks, you read the title correctly - I am organsing a second Glasgow GTG! The date is Saturday 18th August, 5pm start, venue somewhere on Glasgow's southside (already confirmed to attendees by PM). The plan is similar to the last time so we will meet over some drinks, show some watches, chew the fat, show some more watches, have some food, more drink, more watches, etc, etc, etc....! I've already discussed with the guys who attended the first Glasgow GTG last November so we already have some confirmed attendees as shown below. If you are interested in joining us then please post here and I will add you to the list. For the sake of organising a suitable venue, it would be appreciated if you could only say that you will attend if you truly intend to - thanks. (As an aside, the chosen venue and starting time will only be circulated via PM so please do not post such details in this thread. The last thing we need is Strathclyde Police turning up! ) Attendees Del Midasmook Onionbag Aston Corv99 (travelling from North of England as last time - what a guy! ) 5up3rman (also travelling from "Engerland"! ) Hazz37 n18lld 964boy Sol (amazing! ) FFog If you have any questions then please feel free to PM me. Del 4,436 Posted July 27, 2012 We have the usual big hotels in the city centre like the Hilton and Radisson, etc. If you really want nice then try Cameron House on Loch Lomond - about 30 minutes drive from Glasgow city centre. Impressed you will be.....:yoda: You coming over then?

If you could make it then that would be amazing! I can try to help out more on the hotel front if you want - just PM me. Corv99 stayed in a local hotel on the southside of Glasgow for the last GTG - I'm not sure how good it was but it was local to the venue. Hmmmmm will check out the date and see what a train ticket costs. I may well be able to attend this one. That would be great too - let me know!
