jeffw69 0 Posted August 4, 2012 I hope that this gets repped: While I like the previous versions of the Speedmaster, I have always found them to be too small. This new one, with the 9300 movement measures at 44.25mm, which would be perfect for me. What do you guys think?
amuthon 0 Posted August 4, 2012 I pink it's gonna be repped :P
Diego_UK 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Is this the version modeled to look like the one from the 50's-60's? The "First Watch on the Moon" Edition?

scorpion 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Me want one too - that looks slick and I prefer a larger one maybe even 46mm but I would settle for a 44!
Corv99 2 Posted August 4, 2012 45mm? really..... about time!!
jeffw69 0 Posted August 4, 2012 45mm? really..... about time!! well 44.25mm to be exact. Close enough.
RichardMiami 4 Posted August 4, 2012 I would hope so!!! I have hesitated on the Moon Watches for a long time because of the size..... I have a quartz rep.. but every time I look at it I want a true rep, CORRECT working subdials, and 44mm.
Diego_UK 0 Posted August 4, 2012 I believe either Angus or Josh takes requests if there's enough interest... I say we all band together and ask him for this one, and while we're at it... *ahem*
Corv99 2 Posted August 4, 2012 always loved the moonie, but 40mm......noooooooooooooo all we need now is a 45mm+ Daytona!
Del 4,463 Posted August 4, 2012 Oh yes, a 44mm Speedmaster - I like it!

UmpaHimself 222 Posted August 4, 2012 Been waiting for that.
powderfreak 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Dunno, the dial is a bit too modern for a Speedy imo. Looks good on the PO diver, but three subidals would be better here....
jacobarch 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Should be able to rep it........Hopefully they get that DW right. Hate it when completely fail on DW's
powderfreak 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Should be able to rep it........Hopefully they get that DW right. Hate it when completely fail on DW's I don't think so - how would you replicate the function of the double subdial at 3 with a 7750-based movement?
SB56667 155 Posted August 4, 2012 I think the Speedmaster is AWESOME, and I was disappointed to learn that even the best 42mm is hard to find these days (we'll see what I get from Toro next week!) and that it still needs a crystal upgrade to be close to gen (we'll see if I can do that without a disaster next week too). More reps, all models! :help3:
jacobarch 0 Posted August 4, 2012 don't use a 7750 movement? I don't know, im sure they could make it work if they actually put some thought into the movement of the watch. Hell I wouldn't mind paying more if it was an almost exact rep in working order (cosmetically speaking of course)
jacobarch 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Lets move this to WI's forum and rename the title. "make a good copy of this watch please"
Diego_UK 0 Posted August 5, 2012 Lets move this to WI's forum and rename the title. "make a good copy of this watch please" Agreed, because I suddenly really want this watch. Been wanting a Moony, why not this one?

James. 4 Posted August 5, 2012 well, about fkin time! I'm a seamaster whore purely because they're the only "normal" sized ones we can get out hands on...but I've always loved the look of the speedy.
