I started and run a small London based, high end, luxury brand creating a variety of items (mainly cufflinks) all crafted involving original historic materials. There’s rather more to it than that but I won’t bore you with the details!

Before that I initially worked in printing, followed by the television industry and, for many years, as a freelance photojournalist, the latter enabling me to travel the world doing all kinds of exciting things, although my primary tasking was military aviation.

I’m based in West London with wife, twelve year old daughter and ten year old son, both of whom have a worrying addiction for square boxes of all sizes, especially the computer.

Don’t get time for much in the way of hobbies, although I do a lot of mountain biking using two rather nice Specialized carbon bikes.

No, we don't have a shop to be honest - my clients are worldwide and all business is currently done by email and remotely. One day we may have our own boutique, but not yet...

Thank you, I appreciate it. A lot of effort has been expended in making the items extra special and of the highest quality. Currently working on the prototype of our new attache case, the "Spitfire Rib 16 Case", which is styled quite accurately upon a section of Spitfire's wing and incorporates actual 'skinning' from the oldest flying Spitfire, an ex Battle of Britain 1940 one. These will be limited to just 12 cases (all we will be able to get out of the available original donor material) but are costing an absolute arm and a leg to make!

The craftsmanship, creativity and aesthetics all show through. When you add the historic significance to the pieces it is mind-blowing. Thank you VERY much for sharing the link! As a cuff link collector (although not in your league) I truly appreciate what you are doing. :D :D :D

Again, thank you, your comments are very much appreciated. Yes, its really all about the history and scarcity of the subject donor metal, the concept being to come up with original, innovative and eye catching designs which, when seen and commented upon have that fascinating background story to tell. In addition often the severe lack of donor material physically restricts how many of an edition we can do, adding more meaning to the term "limited edition". I'd love to do a watch involving provenance metal but I guess that's one for the future...

I am an international porn star........sorry dreaming again!

I am the Export Manager for the UK's leading distributor of Tools, Maintenance and Health & Safety products.

Married 21 years, 2 gorgeous girls , 2 gerbils, 2 goldfish and the lastest addition is Jessie the 9 week old Staffordshire / English Bull terrier cross who is eating my house bit by bit and has just cost me another £400 for astroturf as she is eating all my pebbles in my garden.Jessie 9 weeks.jpg

any blue bosch or is it hand tools like snap on ?

Blue Bosch !! nuhhh Festool mate...

We have one of these lovely dogs -- she's AKc registered and show quality. Best dog I've ever had! Yes, she too, eats debris and then throws it up on our carpets -- only the really nice ones, mind you!

She never made it to the show ring, however, as she has become a real "booze hound."

She looks lovely, a booze hound!

Blimey and I was pissed at ours for eating my pebbles in the garden, if she starts on my drinks cabinet I wont be happy!

Jessie is not a show dog, she is one of 9 whose was left abandoned and the rescued by the RSPCA, mum is a pure bred Staffordshire and dad is either same or a English Bull Terrier. We are pretty sure dad is English Bull Terrier as she stands in a pose that's typical of that breed. In UK Staffs get a undeserved bad press due to idiots who train them badly and use them to fight. The Pit Bull which is to my mind the same dog is totally banned here.

We have a lot of the same issues here in the US and Canada. In fact, we cannot take Guinness (the dog's name) into Canada. In terms of the breed -- there are a few minor differences but all derived from the English Bull Terrier so your pup, while not a "purebred" has all the same genes. And you are dead straight RE: the bad rep and the people responsible. I know a lot of these dogs and they are not aggressive, great with kids and very affectionate.

So sad! Guinness is 12 years old in September and I dread the day she leaves us...

How has this turned into "show your pet" thread?

Yes, apparently. But they, along with our spouses, partners, kids, etc. are an important part of our persona and, I think, relevant.

Besides, my cat demanded that I put her pic in here, given all the dog pics... ..................
