zelda 0 Posted August 14, 2012 Hi fellow members, I am sure there GMT IIc owners here who can help me with this issue: Yesterday I received a GMT IIc which has an Asian 2836 Movement from Sead (a TD at RWI). Everything is fine except the 24 hours hand hasn't moved a millimeter in 24 hours. I can't contact the dealer because RWI is down at the moment. Is this watch faulty or I did something wrong when doing the setting ? Thanks in advance for your input.
RichardMiami 4 Posted August 14, 2012 can you set the GMT hand manually? On some watches, you must find the "sweet spot" when you pull out the crown. This may not fix anything, but will give us a better idea of what may be going on with the watch.
trksh-bzr 3 Posted August 14, 2012 the gmt hand on the gmt iic with asian 2836 should have gmt setting if you set the stem in the middle position. turning frward will set date, turning backward will set gmt hand. if it doesn't move at all, then that's not a good sign.
