I'm not used to being jealous......

The only thing stopping me from buying a Gen GP right now........ is the hope I can buy one like this very soon.......

Whooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

That's the MANLIEST, burly watch I've seen in a while! Freakin sweet! :)

I haven't ascended to that level of our hobby yet, never built a watch. I appreciate how they work and the precision engineering behind mechanicals and automatics, but the thought of putting one together is nail bitingly daunting for me! I figure I would mash the movement or bust something at an early stage. ...but you know what, this inspires me to give it a whirl! Seeing the level of results you can achieve, not to mention bragging rights? (Hey where'd you get that watch ? "I BUILT it!!!!! [Ooohs and aaaahs]) That's just fun!!!

Going to look up and find cheapie beginner kits, maybe silix? I'd love to throw together a really different panerai or Rollie, and make it look 200 years old, or maybe with steampunk flair?

Thank You for inspiration! In 2014 I'm going to build a watch, cant say how long it'll last or how accurate, but you gotta start somewhere right!

Have a great Christmas and joyful, peaceful, prosperous 2014! I look forward to the finish pictures of your project! Good work!
