Dendo 93 Posted August 20, 2012 I will try to keep this brief. Gave a friend a Brooklyn Bridge PAM. After 6 months he tells me it is going crazy - 20 minutes fast per day at least. So I take it from him thinking, quick look inside and/or palm slap and/or demagnetize. And try to regulate the timing. None of the above worked. Did notice some scratches around the regulator arm. Of course he did not tell me he was playing with it. After a long time (days) adjusting the rate back and forth, testing and retesting etc etc I realized he must have moved the beat rate regulator arm - Circled in white. Rate adjusting lever is circled in red. So I used the biburo software and korg microphone and amp to adjust the beat rate back to 0.3 milliseconds. (For more info on biburo follow the link in my signature below). This also corrected the amplitude to 230 degrees - it was 100 degrees which is not a healthy amplitude for this movement. See that the beat rate is now 0.3ms. And the timing is around +6 seconds a day, well within COSC standards and much better than 20 minutes per day . All is well now Even the lume All pics taken with an iphone - so apologies for the crappy quality. Moral of the story - when you ask someone to take a look at something - tell them the full story.
