kennycoder 97 Posted September 7, 2012 Guys, I need a piece of advise. I was looking forward to order Calibre de Cartier watch trough watchinternational but I got the following reply: "Hi Nikolai, I advise you don't buy this watch, the quality is not good. Best regards, Mary" Any ideas why? Really want a classy watch with roman numbers and I like this cartier a lot. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
greg_r 83 Posted September 7, 2012 Means that the rep of that model is pretty poor quality. Unlike some dealers, WI will actually advise you if they think you're making a poor purchase.
HeavyKrush 16 Posted September 7, 2012 I never question Mary in these matters. Seems like there are many versions of this watch, which one were you inquiring about specifically?
James. 4 Posted September 7, 2012 There's soooo many watches out there that fit your proverbial bill Nikolai, have a browse and you'll find something else you like lickety split.

trailboss99 996 Posted September 7, 2012 Why the lack of love for RADO (it's all in caps guys)? Some of the ceramics are damn nice watches.
kennycoder 97 Posted September 7, 2012 I have one from pwc, quality is soso at best.. Yeah I have one too.. black version but the crown doesn't look anywhere close to the real one and colors don't mach.. therefore I wanted a better version. From what I've seen from photos of TD list, their versions look much better.. almost as real one. But Mary from watchinternational advised against.. I guess I'll have to go for something else.. prolly IWC or so.
J0n79 0 Posted September 12, 2012 There is quite a nice FA jones rep available if you are into dress watches..
Greed 2 Posted September 12, 2012 (edited) I've bought one for my dad. Rochest warned me about it too. My dad wanted it really bad so we took it anyway. I must say it's an excellent looking rep, the only problem is that you have to be careful with the crown. I quote from email: "the main problem is the crown, it is a little hard to jump to the correct position. i don't know if you can understand my meaning."
