cromag 0 Posted September 14, 2012 I was with a buddy getting his new 42mm Omega Planet Ocean sized at my local jeweler. His wrists are just a tiny bit smaller than my 6.5" wrist. It almost didn't fit because we ran out of links to remove! It fits bit loose on his wrist but he likes it that way, and I think it looks good a little loose. I heard that 7" (17.75cm) is about average wrist size for a man. In an effort to help our community I think we should have a Skinny Wrist Club thread, where we post ongoing wristshots of our watches on our skinny wrists. This data can help our skinny purchasing decisions. Show us your old models and newest models. Sure you can post a large PAM, or DSSD, on a 6.25" wrist. That would be great to see! It may not be acceptable to some, but others may find it just right. Here is the criteria I would like to try to follow; Let's see wrist shots of watches if your wrists are 6.5" (16.5cm) or less. Please post your pics with the following; Brand/Model Diameter/Thickness Your wrist size (daily wrist sizes change slightly so try to measure for the picture you post) Add any other info you want to share. Cheers!

Crusader 0 Posted September 14, 2012 One thread where I can be helpfull... I have 17cm wrist, I think this is 6.7''. Just keep in mind that watches look bigger on pics, they fit smaller on my wrist in person. 44mm/15mm Showpard, thicker strap helps to balance it out 40mm/15mm Pam homage 41mm/13mm SMP 300m

And RWG has better taste Edited September 14, 2012 by cromag

cromag 0 Posted September 15, 2012 Cromag, your Martin has way too high action. Actually it does feel a bit high for my taste and I would like to lower it but it's all a trade off I guess. I love playing that HD28. It's factory spec to the micron according to, and accurately measured by, Gryphon in Palo Alto, but I'm in drop D tuning for that song so it may look a little off. I may head down there and check have it checked. Thanks Lu
johnnyjazz 0 Posted September 15, 2012 Cromag, your Martin has way too high action. Each to their own Luth. My Archtops are a bit higher still, i play mostly solo fingerstyle but when accompanying a saxophone, comping walking bass etc i prefer the height for attack and volume. 99% of those chords are barre, my left forearm and hand (fretting) are like popeye,s, takes a while to build up stamina but i,ve been doing it for about 15 years now. Del 4,462 Posted September 15, 2012 Flamin' heck, I don't qualify for this club because my wrist is too big at 6.75" - that's a first! Anyway, this is one of my larger watches at 45mm in diameter and around 18mm in depth - it's a Breitling Skyland Blacksteel. jcagara08 31 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) I wear my watch on the left wrist which is 6.5" (screams ASIAN!!) its weird cause my right wrist is 6.76" prolly because of fapping too much here's the PO 42mm, just can't take it off my wrist really. I am almost 40" on the waistline and only 5"6ft in height so most prolly I wont have a trouble in rocking 45mm to 48mm watches, for now I am safe with 43mm watches I guess Maybe a better view; Edited September 17, 2012 by jcagara08

Guitarman 0 Posted September 29, 2012 Guys, how's it going . A guitarist with a 6 .25 wrists finds it impossible to increase wrist size. 50 chin ups daily has no effects. What can we do to be able to wear 46 mm plus watch sizes. Confused from Uk.
