chenner29 0 Posted October 3, 2012 Boys, I have been researching PAMs for a few weeks now and still can't decide which one I want. I was hoping for some help picking out my next rep! I really like the 111 but would like something that has a datewheel and automatic movement (as opposed to handwind). Without having handled a 111 rep, how is the quality of the handwind movement? It makes me a bit nervous to be cranking the watch to keep it going every few days. So preferences: Sandwich dial and Superlume Clear caseback/display caseback Datasheet but no cyclops Automatic movement Thanks for your help!!! Crusader 0 Posted October 3, 2012 How about 312? It's the 1950 case, but I think it could be the Pam for you
Luthier 1 Posted October 3, 2012 There's only 5-6 PAMs, that I'd buy, rest are all the same. 111, 090, 224, 253, 029, 187.
LeandroBR 14 Posted October 3, 2012 Sandwich dial and very good lume Clear caseback/display caseback Datasheet but no cyclops Automatic movement = PAM

HeavyKrush 16 Posted October 3, 2012 No worries at all with the hand wind movement. Wear my 111 all the time with no issues. Second nature now.
Luthier 1 Posted October 3, 2012 Titanium is too light and greyish. Feels like cheap.
ks653 0 Posted October 3, 2012 Hands down the 111... the polished look is something else... I like the 320 and the 312 but the brushed case does not make it stand out like it does in case of the 111... the handwind movement for the 111N Noob is smooth as butter.. at least mine is... after a while you get used to the handwind movement... Member X 91 Posted October 3, 2012 +1 to the handwinds - great movements, you have to be going some to kill one, and every day before bed you just spend 30 seconds winding it If you don't want to spend nearly $300 on a Noobfactory version of the 111, the 247 Ferreti is a stunning alternative choice - clear AR, highbeat movement, ridiculous lume, superb build quality, amazing strap, and closed caseback so no issues with incorrect looking movement finishes / errors, and all for $168 + shipping (only $10 by trackable Airmail)! Wouldn't be without mine now it's arrived

arancini 0 Posted October 4, 2012 Another vote for the PAM 111. The highly polished case is just incredible to behold up-close in the metal.
chenner29 0 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) That 312 looks like sex. Filthy, degrading, sweaty, hateful sex. And I love it. Thank you! Edited October 9, 2012 by chenner29

Personally speaking, I bought mine from Marvellous Replica and would buy it again over a Beginner 111 because I feel the closed caseback removes issues about movement accuracy (in the looks department) and I prefer the overall look, especially with the strap that is amazing for the money. As for differences, it is best to do comparisons yourself so you become knowledgeable and confident of what you are buying I am sure you will be happy with either so make sure you leave payment references blank when paying (unless specifically instructed to put a comment or reference by the TD) and post pics when it arrives
