aksingh 17 Posted October 4, 2012 This is my AP ROO RG RC on a brown Jacob gen hornback. I prefer brown straps on gold cases and I've got a PP Nautilus and Cartier Santos TT with this combo. I liked the rubber strap but I bought a rep Don Ramon strap to see how it would work and it looked great so I ordered the real thing from Jacob. It took two months but the strap is amazing quality and cost much less than AP Bands. Its got the same flaws as all the ROOs - date position, thickness etc, but I handled the gen in Selfridges, dont you know, before I bought this and I can tell you apart from the weight it looks and feels just like the gen, I was amazed when I got it in the post actually, so very gen like and for 2% of the price! For a little more as a stock Safari. The price of real hornback was also a hick up for me i think AP bands are around $ 250 or so?
