Mikes 0 Posted October 4, 2012 I've been left intrigued today, (when trying to place my first order), and I should have asked at the time. What could "too hot to handle" mean? Cheers!

deadmeat 0 Posted October 4, 2012 I'd go with hooters - sounds better
Mikes 0 Posted October 4, 2012 I like that idea... If it was hooters though I would still be intrigued! Apparently the item was "too hot to handle" and couldn't be sent. I wondered what that could possibly be a technical term for and my imagination ran riot. Thought I'd ask here. Any ideas?....
JDCKent 0 Posted October 4, 2012 You know, there's a song for everything...

Mikes 0 Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) the "Tee hee, so I've heard" was meant about there being a song for everything and the great response from JDCKent But seriously though, I was a bit bimused about the non supply, mainly just very intrigued though Edited October 4, 2012 by Mikes

1littlegreen 1 Posted October 4, 2012 Twilight Zone here we come.... I have no idea, clue or anything resembling a direction. Clarification would be helpful. Otherwise this is wasting everyones' time.
Mikes 0 Posted October 4, 2012 We had exchanged some emails, I had all the answers back and was waiting for the invoice to pay for the order, when a day later I was told "Sorry, they're too hot to handle" and the sale was stopped. I just found it quite fascinating and wondered if it's a known conclusion here? I have no complaints at all. It just seemed like a very amusing turn of phrase to me... like "Rare as hens teath" or "selling like hot cakes" maybe?
