Pohoho 0 Posted October 12, 2012 The subject: I forgot about the "Before" shot and took off the hands already . Plan is to apply stealth lume on numbers '12' and '6' and the hour indices. There is a polished perimeter around the indices and some sharp tapers on the numbers so keeping them clean and clear will be a priority in this project. The Lume Shot: The lume on the hands are pretty decent so no plans to re-lume them. This is my special order StealthLume from WatchLume: A lot darker than his normal offer. Now to remove the dials and indices to clean off the black paint and apply the lume. The surprise find! Looks like my life took a tough turning now. Well, I just went ahead with the application anyway. After mixing in the binder, the lume was pure black! Steady hands and lots of patience. Black on black was a pain to apply but gives the indices a nice relief from them being flat. I let the lume set for a while and clean up the polished edges from the over runs. Not too bad! I can't tell the difference from the pic so not putting an after one. Tala; here's the stealth lume shot of the dial: Argh! Too much Stealth
