Again this is to show the more commonly recommended ones new folks will search and find. The value decision rests on the readers tolerance level and bank balance... ________________ Sent from my mobile device. Please excuse the brevity of this message. jcagara08 31 Posted October 20, 2012 So after all these posts, have we figured out who has the best DSSD rep? A: Kenny Why? he has all the knowledge and the skills, and the money, he will have the best DSSD rep!
Norwegian123 0 Posted November 18, 2012 Great post, now I'm completly confused ! I'm new on this forum and planning to buy a DSSD. I'm looking for highest possible quality and until now I have just assumed that "you get what you pay". But after reading this post I'm more tempted to forget about the hole thing, as it does not sound like paying up get you value for money. Is this particularly for DSSD or does this apply to Rolex in general ?
elena 0 Posted December 24, 2012 LightGeek, if you have to buy once again a DSSD and you intend to keep it and wear it at least 2 days a week, which one would you get?
LightGeek 25 Posted December 24, 2012 Of the three, Toro. Then use the money save to buy reps for all the other days in the week ________________ Sent from my mobile device. Please excuse the brevity of this post.
Becket 0 Posted December 24, 2012 Brand new here. Have a rep from NYC. A DSSD. Had it about a year and its a little banged up. These watches on this thread are all much nicer than mine. I don't understand all the abbreviations and am not at all familiar with the sellers of these products. Who can be trusted to get the absolutely best DSSD rep on the market? Price not an issue. I'm not seeing much difference between watches 1 and 2. Big price diff. The third watch "original gas..." Font is to light and anemic looking. Thanks for the info. HeavyKrush 16 Posted December 24, 2012 Just a quick look at the triangles... It seems that the gen sits right in the middle of being curved and flat.
LightGeek 25 Posted December 24, 2012 Just a quick look at the triangles... It seems that the gen sits right in the middle of being curved and flat. Nice composite. Yes, and hence none are really perfect. All depends on what flaws you're willing to live with... Or gen TC/gen insert ________________ Sent from my mobile device. Planemo 0 Posted January 17, 2013 Re the triangles, it's very simple. The top of the gen triangle for all intents follows the curvature of the bezel. The noob one is TOO curved, the 42PO is flat. However, IMO the noob one looks closer to gen than the 42PO because the flat top stands out a mile.
