What is your grail watch?

This is my grail watch. What is yours? I prefer the platinum with the blue hands tho.

My grail watch would be a case of flipping a coin between these two:

1. Lange Double Split

lange_doublesplit.jpg

2. VC Malte Perpetual retrograde calendar

vcmgen.jpg

On reflection, if I did have sixty grand to spend on a watch I'd probably go for the Lange as it's a little bigger (43mm vs 38.5mm).

Well, the smallest watch I own these days is 43mm, so I guess so :)

really i don't need a fancy $200K tourby. i wouldn't mind a new

PAM 312 or 325(?) with Gmt and new style S/S bracelet or perhaps a mid-range UN.

I actually have something i really wanted- Rolex GMT in TT.

IWC Porto would have to be on the list but there's too many others to choose from!

It does in pictures, but in real life the Senator Sixties looks a lot more retro. It's the domed saphire and font, I think....

My grail watch would probably be a gen Panerai 201A. I will probably have to settle for a rep though.

Wow, you guys like some "fancy" watches.

For me it's hard to pick a grail watch. It's a bit like picking a favourite album, it changes all the time.

Perhaps this handy and subtle beauty.

But no toaster or cocktail shaker.

That, my good sir, as everyone knows is the Telson TWC 1150.

But there is stiil the Radar Watch,

Or if you still miss the 60s and those warm sounding valve amps, there is always this.

Nixie Watch

Which seems nice, as long as you only need to know what hour your in.

It's this at the moment, and it will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.

I'll take a new or used one. I suppose the true grail watch is the pre-moon version with dagger hands before it was branded "Professional".
