Is this Omega 4 real?

Below an all Original Vintage Omega Seamater 300, circa 1967:

The author of article, where this pic was taken from. Explains the authenticity of the above Omega- In the paragraph below.

...This watch is guaranteed to be entirely authentic throughout. We purchased it directly from the Lincolnshire farmer who bought it brand new in 1967 when he was stationed in Germany with the British Army. It has been worn carefully for over forty years and is not a mint example, but its condition remains extremely good throughout. Nothing about this watch has been changed or modified since the day it left its supplying jeweler when it was sold for the first time. A more original, untouched example does not exist anywhere in the world, at any price level...

Now...another supposed Omega Seamaster 300 ( below ) is being sold on eBay (at this moment) as an original '1967 Omega Seamaster 300':

And lastly....

The seller on the Bay says this about the watch above:...

''Based on the movement number (25619XXX) Omega puts the production year of this watch at 1967.''

Conclusion

The mind boggles. Hmmm?

My guess is that the 2nd one has been serviced and been redialled and new hands fitted.

My initial take after only a few seconds study is that both are gen.

This is a classic example of needing to spend some time looking at various examples ....do your due dilligence...to make a considered opinion/decision.

I don't specifically know all the attributes of that model so I am as hazy as anyone.

James.

+1, probably "gen" but not 100% original parts.

I wouldn't touch the second one with a ten foot barge pole myself.

It may be gen but it's been buggered by re-working.

That model Omega is the most commonly "frankened" (not a good thing in gen's!!) model...
