James. 4 Posted October 28, 2012 As the title indicates, lets see who's interested in a gtg in Sydney before the new year period. I know of a few members in the Sydney region, lets stop being anonymous and show those Scotts and Danish guys how its done! Location and locked in date can be sorted once we figure out how many we have interested in coming. Ok boys & girls... well just boys I guess... lock this date away; Saturday 23rd Feb 2013. This gives people plenty of time to organise to accomodate the date and plan accordingly. Venue is James Squires, nice place, centrally located and beer. It'll be Saturday afternoon event on going from about lunch time, then those that want to kick on can do so to either Darling harbor, CBD or KingsX watering holes. Feel free to spread the word to any like-minded watch-a-holics in Sydney/OZ who'd like to come. I think Watt is spreading the word on RG and RWG1. There's a thread over on RWI, spread the love to our sister sites Aussie members ( link below). The invite is also open to any internationals of course who may find themselves on our sunny (hopefully) shores around the set date next year. TB and I could be starters although New Year to Aust Day isn't the best time for travelling........personally speaking........ into Feb would be better. The last one worked well, having it on Saturday lunch/afternoon, meant those left standing could kick on in the 'Cross later, and still drag ourselves onto a plane on Sunday. @Watt, can you remember the name of the pub?
