spaatz1049 0 Posted November 2, 2012 Hello everyone, I'm new to the whole world of replicas and after some searching found this forum. I'm looking forward to learning more about everything and adding to my collection. I'm in the UK now (wife is English) but originally from the states. In addition to the amazing collection of information in the forum, please let me know of any preferred UK resources as I like to buy "local" as much as possible. Cheers, Kevin (spaatz1049)
greg_r 83 Posted November 2, 2012 Welcome! The only trusted dealer we have who is UK-based is Narikaa. You'll find his subforum further down the board. The majority of dealers are based in the far east and for the widest selection, it's worth taking a look at what they can offer. Delivery from China via airmail can be a little slow, but it's safe and reliable (note that EMS shipping is currently more troublesome - whilst fast, customs tend to take a little too much interest). Enjoy the board!

spaatz1049 0 Posted November 2, 2012 Onze, I'm reading through your guide on how to clean and oil a watch. Thank you. Pure gold this stuff is. I enjoy watching videos about these things online (wife calls it "Watch porn" hehe) but having a documented intro like you wrote is fantastic. Just what I need....another hobby. lol Cheers, Kev

spaatz1049 0 Posted November 3, 2012 I think I'm interested in a PO. Damn Skyfall marketing has me in a Vader-style dark-side death grip. I had a gen Rolex Yachtmaster but was damaged beyond repair in an accident so I've been wearing a lower end automatic (top of the line Invicta diver) in the interim. Was searching online for info on POs and found this forum. Now I'm really on the path to the dark-side.
