IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 So I'm in Canada and currently considering getting this gen PO I went to check the price at the AD and I was told that it's 6100$ CAD ( + 15% taxes). Now given that I'm not too far away from the US border (a quick 2.5 hours drive) I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to drive down to the states and get it from there. What do you guys think?? Any thoughts and insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
ad6904 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Most ADs will offer a discount on the quoted price once they realise you are serious. Its probably worth asking what their best price is and showing you are a serious buyer. As for the price difference in the states, I can't really comment, I'm from Aus! HeavyKrush 16 Posted November 5, 2012 $6,100 is list price. For sure cheaper almost anywhere. Luxury of watches has it for $4,636.00 With no tax if not living in CA.
IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Thanks for the tip, how much of a discount do they usually give do you think? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Oh but this is the new 45mm liquid metal model with the display back. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Ncj 0 Posted November 5, 2012 In Toronto try royal de versailles, on bloor...I have bought a Rolex and Tag, and they negotiate if they see you are serious. Good Luck..
HeavyKrush 16 Posted November 5, 2012 Hmm... That doesn't seem to be a pic of a liquid metal PO, but list price would be about $7,900 with a decent pickup price of $6,004.00 http://www.luxuryofwatches.com/omega-seamaster-planet-ocean-big-size-232-92-46-21-03-001/
IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Thank you, do you know roughly how much a discount I could expect? And I'm curious to know how much it goes for in the States cause I know the prices are usually much cheaper? Or am I mistaken? IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Wow amazing prices at luxury of watches! Thanks heavykrush. But they don't seem to have the orange numeral model. Any other trust worthy site suggestions? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Well that's what the salesman said at the AD. Think he was taking me for a ride? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
HeavyKrush 16 Posted November 5, 2012 Well that's what the salesman said at the AD. Think he was taking me for a ride? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD just going by what's on Omega's website for the model number you gave. Seems like maybe there was a communication error. Also seems strange he quoted the exact list price for the non liquid metal version.
IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Definitely weird since he said liquid metal 5x! Was definitely trying to take me for a ride!!
IMO 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Would u happen to know which model number is the lm?
jeffw69 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Would u happen to know which model number is the lm? Liquid Metal was a limited edition PO, using the old movement and has closed case back. It was in 42mm only. The model numbers can be found on Omega's website.
aksingh 16 Posted November 5, 2012 (edited) That grey bezel is not LM, just the new ceramic 8500. Only blue titanium 45mm and 42mm limited edition are. You should be able to get around 20% off. I was offered 25% off new in the UK. Edited November 5, 2012 by aksingh
