Looking at making my first purchase soon probably an Omega PO - such a stunningly beautiful watch - almost as beautiful as my other half. Glad to make your acquaintances. jonesie9870 0 Posted November 7, 2012 Ok guys, thanks for all the welcomes. I have spent many a long hour perusing the site and now I am faced with my first major decision. I have been exchanging emails with Michelle at Silix and she has kindly quoted me on a PO but because I am a newbie here and a new customer to her, she has asked for payment using western union. The feedback I have read about Michelle is all excellent apart from one person who took it upon themselves to be over vocal about the product he received, but you took care of him anyway. Back to business and I have a couple of questions that I hope you can help with. 1. I've not used Western Union before and presume that other members here have used it and wondered if there were any problems that have been encountered. 2. Has anyone had issues with Import Duties etc and should anything have occured what were the experiences. I'm ready to pull the trigger with the hope of maybe adorning said PO on Christmas day (if all goes to plan). Any advice would be gratefully received. Mystery Shopper 5,887 Posted November 7, 2012 I have used WU a couple of times and have had no issues. I used the desk at the post office rather than doing it all on line. Several of the TDs prefer Western Union, others paypal, alertpay, moneygram etc. Nice choice on the PO- which one? Welcome.
arancini 0 Posted November 7, 2012 My advice is to leave here right now, dont look back just go away and forget you ever found this site................. Or get your wallet ready for a serious spending spree!!!!!! What he said. Welcome buddy. Good group of people here with an impressive depth of knowledge and a site with a huge information database. Be sure to use the search button on here. A lot of things I was thinking of asking, had already been asked by someone else before me.
