Loonie 0 Posted November 18, 2012 Is it new from a TD? Service can cost as much as rep!

Loonie 0 Posted November 18, 2012 Speak to dealer, I'm guessing they will say to return it for a replacement. Will take a while though...
Heisenberg 0 Posted November 18, 2012 I resized and WD40'd the bracelet. Will I still be able to return it?
Loonie 0 Posted November 18, 2012 They will either repair it or replace it. Either way I don't think it will matter, speak to your dealer.
halcyon 0 Posted November 18, 2012 It's common problem of A7750. If you have any skills about watch repairing, it's easy job to make it work correctly. If not, return to TD is best way.

Unfortunately I don't have the skills to fix it myself. Are there any tutorials here on how to do it?
devedander 0 Posted November 18, 2012 theres a few wath repairers on the board and i think some are uk based. could probably get refunded the cost from the dealer...

Chr1st0c 0 Posted November 18, 2012 I have the same issue with a Aquaracer 500m Chrono .... PM'd Chris at 10:10 ...and his reply "there's a brake on the hour totalizer wheel that's not engaged."... We surely are in the same boat ... To add insult to injury ... My subdial at 12 position only runs for 12 minutes and then stops. Seems Chris can fix the problem since ge replied " The brake is common and usually a straightforward fix " when I asked about it ... Hope this helps ! Christo Damn I've got an aquaracer 500m chrono on the way as well lol. I've just ran the chrono and so far after stopping it the hours subdial hasn't advanced. Not sure if I've fixed it or not. I think my minutes subdial does go past 12 minutes though.
Heisenberg 0 Posted November 18, 2012 Actually the hours subdial does seem to be advancing still. Will run the chrono again for a bit longer.
Chr1st0c 0 Posted November 18, 2012 I also tried running the chrono ... That's how I found the problem with the 12 o'clock subdial... Once you reset the chrono it will reset... but starts running after a while .... It's real pain in the ass .... They say you should'nt sweat the small things, but it pisses me off when I look at the watch and the dials are pointing all over the place !
