AllergyDoc 40 Posted February 3, 2010 I'm giving a lunch-time seminar and I don't want to run over, so I picked this one because of the large dial. I didn't want to be squinting at skinny Sub hands.

midasmook 14 Posted February 4, 2010 I'm with you Greg.Managed to get the crappy blue tint off of the lume of this Panerai Radiomir Chronograph which has given it a new lease of life. I can't believe I was considering selling it at one time.
greg_r 81 Posted February 4, 2010 Yeah, mine has had the AR stripped too. One of my favourite watches - I just need to get it on a better strap (I have a blue calf strap on order from BOB).

AllergyDoc 40 Posted February 4, 2010 Back to the Skyland today. A strange thing happened to this watch on Tues. I wanted to time a talk I had to give yesterday to a fibromyalgia support group, so I activated the timer. Five minutes later I looked at the watch to check the time and saw that it had stopped after the chrono second hand had moved only 12 seconds; the whole watch had stopped. I couldn't get it started again. Even the reset button wouldn't work. I set it down and PM'ed Speedy on RG to get on his repair list. An hour or two later I picked the watch up and it was ticking away. The chrono hands reset fine. So something came loose, then righted itself? Very strange.
