Strap of Choice - IWC Top Gun v3

Gents.

 

I have one of these inbound, hopefully before the current century is out.

 

It comes with the standard nylon strap,

 

So my question is, if you do have a IWC Top Gun (v1,v2 or v3), what sort of strap do you have on it or what would you recommend?

 

Any feedback/photos much appreciated.

Sure, mine's on a canvas Taikonaut I bought from DFH.

Have a kevlar strap from StrapCode on mine, (I think it is a Taikonaut) leather lining and very comfy. It was 35 USD

Hi Digger,

What size wrist do you have? I am finding it hard to find a kevlar strap long enough, I have a 21 cm wrist and they all seem too short.

I only have about 17 cm but this strap would fit 21 cm I think, will measure it when I come home and let you know.

No good, I measure 20,8 cm in last hole and it will not look like this

Still trying to work out the lug and buckle size for this Rep, before it arrives.

I have the v1. Aas far as I can meassure lug are 21,0 . rep buckle is 18,3 mm (bought in Beijing no TD involved)

Better than others because the thickness on lug is like the gen. The ones from Strapcode are too thin.

anyone know what straps are similar to look fo Gen kevlar strap that does NOT taper down to 18mm at the tang buckle? I rather it be the same size or at most taper 1mm down if possible.

I've got two straps available if anyone is interested. My top gun case cracked so have two essentially new straps available that I had just bought. One is khaki green canvas style and the other is black with white stitching closer to the original style.
