Removing scratch from AP Diver

Hazz

Removed scratch and now trying to refinish. No going back now

10:10 Watch Repair

tape or glue a sheet of sandpaper to a flat surface (glass is ideal.) Orient the bezel face down so the factory graining is parallel to the direction you will move it. Move bezel one direction only (not back and forth,) 1-2 times only, long strokes.

Polish edges first BTW.

Use a ruler or something too, to keep the sweep even in one direction. No? Im just making this up but thats what i would do....

scratch away and refinished, think I am happy with the result. Thanks kenney and 10:10 for the advice, and Sol for his input :thumbsup:

I used 800 grit, could have gone to 1000 so I am told.
