What kind of bezel it is??? Plexi?

 

yes, the bezels on all of them are a plastic...the black/orange version of course only the numerals are lumed not the whole bezel.

 

I would say it is glass, as it is resistant to acetone

I got 5 "nice watch" comments on the weekend. I find that it's running extremely slow. I'm loosing 10 min/day and usually when I take it off at night. Wonder if the clone ETA has a working regulator. Anyone know?

Could be magnetised?

 

Demagnetising should be a simple and easy fix by any local watchsmith (not an AD).

I'll look at de-magnetizing it. I think I can do that myself.

 

Funny story about AD. I was in the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas over the weekend. Omega AD right outside the conservatory so I got all excited and wanted to check out a gen PO. I go in and ask to see the PO... not remembering that I have this rep ploprof on my wrist.

 

Saleswoman: Nice proplof, Would you like a complementary cleaning?.

Me: No thanks

Sales: I don't blame you for not wanting to take it off

Me: I like the PO... I'll come back (leave)

 

I was just across the counter and my hand was never still, so I doubt she could tell it was a rep. Even if she knew, do you think she would have called me out?

The the black part of the strap is just the plastic reinforcement for the springbars. When you cut the strap(little by little) you will see that the rubber is all white

 

 

 

That makes sense. I'll be cutting little by little. What tool did you guys use to cut the band? Standard box cutter ok?

I used a carving knife on a wooden chopping board

scissors for me.
