DirtyHarry62 0 Posted November 29, 2012 I have always been fasciated with the tourbillon, but have never wanted to be homeless to own one. So here is the next best thing I could find. I also have a YouTube video if you be interested in watching her fly! Seagull movement, SS case, double AR sapphire crystal and display back. How ya like me now? J.Eric 705 Posted November 29, 2012 Looks Amazing!! Congrats and Enjoy!!
honeybear 0 Posted November 29, 2012 Beautiful watch, it's probably not a Seagull tourbillon movement, since most of the more affordable Seagull tourbillon movements aren't co-axial tourbillons, but it's still an amazing watch. This is my JLC Master Tourbillon, which uses the non-skeletonized version of the same movement.

honeybear 0 Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) Honeybear, where did you purchase this JLC? Looks very nice. Mine was from Puretime.co, but if you have a preferred TD, they should be able to get it for you as well. Use PT2012XMAS for a 5% discount. honeybear 0 Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) Not sure how to post this inline, but here is the link: Very nice, here's mine. I much prefer the co-axial tourbillon movements that are used in your AP and my JLC. Edited November 29, 2012 by honeybear
DirtyHarry62 0 Posted November 29, 2012 Honeybear, after more research I think you're right. I was told by dealer it was a seagull, but I think it is the Hangzhou (PTS) FD3310 movement. RWG Chinese Movement Thread: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=36615 Thanks for the reminder to listen to the dealer, but always do your own research. RWG Chinese Movement Thread: http://www.rwg.bz/bo...showtopic=36615 Thanks for the reminder to listen to the dealer, but always do your own research. Yes, I remember looking into the type of movement, and it was a Hangzhou PTS of some sorts. The only co-axial tourbillon movement by Seagull that I'm aware of is the ST8260. Perhaps the easiest way to tell is the fact that the cannon pinion is right at the center of the dial, and in line with the crown. I should mention that this photo is from Perpetual Watch, and they offer a tourbillon that uses the ST8260 for $1740. Over a year back, Seagull USA quoted me about $2600 for theirs, but said that prices would be shortly increasing to above $3000. It's a beautiful movement, and commands a significant premium over tourbillon movements from other brands, so it helps to know your movements. Luthier 1 Posted November 29, 2012 Too fancy. Fuck.. nothing pleases you besides yourself, does it? It does. But not this skeleton. It's nice jewelry, but as a watch... Mmmm.... nope. @honeybear - PTS is a trading company from HK, and they have nothing to do with Hangzhou watch factory. They sell movements from most chinese movements factories.
