964boy 54 Posted December 2, 2012 Hi guys, this is my latest, and in my opinion by far best purchase to date. Always lusted after this baby, and it looks and feels even better in real life. Many thanks again to Sparkal, great transaction and shipped from New Zealand to UK in 4 days and is in as new condition 100% My pic skills are not great, but had a read at Silverspeed thread on how to photograph watches - great help - so here we go, hope you enjoy as much as me :D Researched a lot about it in my short time here. Any additional info on the history from members would be great, when did BK originally sell these, how many did he make and more. All info would be greatly appreciated. sardonix 1 Posted December 2, 2012 WatchMaker9 used to sell extremely accurate copies of Rolex watches. He was a toolist/machinest/case maker for a chinese rep factory and made higher quality ones on the side. A member of this site, BKLM1234 (who still does custom work) took these very good reps and made them better. Unfortunately WM9 dissapeared with a lot of people's money and has never been heard from since. So, you can't get these watches direct any more they only come from member to member sales. There are 3 versions, V1, V2, V3 etc and also ones modified by BKLM which will often be referred to as a BK WM9 or a BKLM WM9 watch. The most prized of which are the Yachtmaster and the two tone sub. They also accepted genuine parts so a lot of people have added genuine crystal/crown/tube/insert etc which can really increase the cost. People were given the option of M serial (rehaut engraving) or the Z serial (no engraving). I picked no engraving because there are too many ways to mess it up and only one way to get it right, wasn't worth the risk.
