Trailboss has been running the show with some help both here and RWI. The general discussion section was renamed for greg_r. Tits McGee also passed from cancer. Popperini 12,778 Posted June 3 2 hours ago, maverick3934 said: in the hands of a professional can they tell its a rep just by touching it? As a failsafe against identification, every rep has a small explosive device built in, which is programmed to detonate when touched by a professional. The explosion ruptures a small canister of molecular acid, which then eats the watch entirely from the inside. The professional is left with a small puddle of metal and your pride is left intact. Philiusmaximus 3,401 Posted June 3 I once walked into an AD and he could tell it was a rep by the sound of the air brushing against it alone.

Yes, yes they can and they generally feel sorry enough for you to trade you for the real thing...give it a shot.

tribefan 5,710 Posted June 15 All of these dealers are on the list for a reason. Check out their feedback and reviews sections. Don't be afraid to email the dealers without websites, their customer service can be excellent, and all dealers can get the same watches for the most part. You want to be as specific as you can with the model watch you want as well as the "factory" that produces it. That is where the real research comes in.
