stabilo 0 Posted December 11, 2012 Any simple solution to this problem. My rep Omega Seamaster is about 3 weeks old. At first it kept good time. Now it stops and then starts again sometimes falling behind by up to 15 minutes. But more often 5 to 10 minutes. I have been manually winding it (20 to 30 turns) so that is not the problem. Seems to be an intermittent problem as it can run to time for almost the whole day then the fault kicks in. Maybe its something simple - like a loose screw that needs tightening. Any ideas on what to try? I am willing to try a few easy repairs.

Kal-el 0 Posted December 11, 2012 I had that same issue with my Pam. Just wear it for a couple of weeks and it will run smoothly.
daymeeyan 0 Posted December 11, 2012 My clone ETA was losing 10 min/day. Someone suggested demagetizing it. I did and it is not back to normal.
scorpion 0 Posted December 11, 2012 I had that same issue with my Pam. Just wear it for a couple of weeks and it will run smoothly. WHAT HE SAID! I have had a few A21J do a random stop when apparently fully wound and have found after wearing for a long time they get more reliable. I am sure I read here that they take a while to wear in. Keep wearing it for a while if its only stopping once or twice a day and see if it gets better. I did have a DSSD that was faulty and kept stopping every hour or so which was replaced by a TD but general most A21J work most of the time with the odd moment!
