Soldie 0 Posted December 17, 2012 Watch international said they couldn't get it. Soldie
Bob Reed 0 Posted December 17, 2012 If WI can not get it then I would not buy it!!!!
trailboss99 996 Posted December 17, 2012 Mate, if the TD's can't get it either it doesn't exist or it's utter crap. Most of the TDs are right at the GZ watchmarkets so if it exists they can get it.
wmiddlemas 0 Posted December 17, 2012 Is watches international a trusted site ?
greg_r 82 Posted December 17, 2012 Soldie: Scam sites frequently advertise watches that are not repped - they use photos of the gens and if you order, you will either receive nothing at all, or something that bears no resemblance to what you have ordered. Col (trailboss99) speaks the truth - if our Trusted Dealers can't supply it, either it's not repped, or the rep that exists is utter garbage. You just have to accept that not everything is repped... offshore 0 Posted December 17, 2012 A good example is the UN "Freak". Some scam sites show photos, and I believe there is a watch made that vaguely resembles it, however its absolute crap. However a scammer will have no problems showing you the original then supplying rubbish or worse still nothing. These forums haven't been around for 10+ years to be missing out on anything decent which is made, and the dealers aren't 'trusted' for no reason. offshore
Soldie 0 Posted December 18, 2012 Any reccomendations For tonneau rep with moon phase? Love the look. Saw Franck Mueller I really liked but not on trusted sites soldie
Soldie 0 Posted December 18, 2012 How often are new reps on the market? Can one custom order if it is not ripped? Soldie
Mazz 62 Posted December 18, 2012 Never heard of that and if you could I think it would cost you lots of money
Mystery Shopper 5,887 Posted December 18, 2012 Mate, if you have a picture of the watch, email it to one of our TD's with an enquiry. Take it from there. Reps are made in production runs and availability varies (if the watch was ever repped at all).
greg_r 82 Posted December 18, 2012 How often are new reps on the market? Can one custom order if it is not ripped? Soldie New reps appear on a regular basis. No, custom orders are generally not a practical proposition unless you want to order 300+ at a time...

Luthier 1 Posted January 2, 2013 Boss, can I... OK, thanks.
1littlegreen 1 Posted January 2, 2013 The only "Custom" I am aware of is the RWG watch. Designed and produced by Luthier (and a few others). Without his knowledge of the production of a "Custom" watch in China, or his personal interaction with the factories and representatives, or the enormous financial investment would not have happened. So no, a "one off custom" is impossible.

CheeseCake 0 Posted February 15, 2013 Richard and Soldie: don't set yourself up to be screwed! As said, if aTD can't get it, forget about it, it is just not repped! There are MANY watches that I would like to buy. They are listed on scammers websites but I will never ever even think about dealing with anyone who is not a TD
