12lurk 0 Posted December 18, 2012 Got my AP Diver v3 with Swiss ETA movement today. Thank you Toro for a painless transaction. I have tried and tried but I do not get the blue reflection on the date window, could it be that they have eliminated this? Excuse the quality of my pics. I am still learning. RichieUK 1 Posted January 8, 2013 Hi Folks - noob question coming Is the diff between V3 and V3.5 just the blue tinted AR or are there many more? I'm new to how the process works with the factories making these watches. Why would the latest version not be the most Improved version? Also - why has it gone v1, v2. v3, v3.5 (0.5 increment - is this a small modification or something?). Does version relate to which batch it is Sorry, I know that's a few questions and some of them may have been answered before. Happy if you could point me to the right link if there is one Thanks in advance

Happy if you could point me to the right link if there is one Thanks in advance You could probably find the answers somewhere on this site, but I can try and share what I know. If anyone knows better chime in. The v3.5 is not the official name, mine was listed as v3 but I chose the Swiss movement. The only diff with the "v3" that I am aware of is the blue date window fix, but I am not sure the Asian movement version has that. V2 had a different strap, and lume quality was not as good (some of the 5 and 0 markers were a bit off on the pictures I saw) To be safe order a v3 (from Toro) and ask for a couple pictures of the watch face and look for blue tint or ask him to pick you one without any blue. Good luck.
