Dungeekin 0 Posted December 31, 2012 Just introducing myself to one and all in these august forums - found you yesterday when looking for cheaper ways to indulge my habit! My name is Neil and I'm a watch addict. :-) Current collection stands at 13 watches but nothing spectacular and no real rep/homage watches. However, with an American wife every trip to NYC has involved a trip to the Tourneau Watch Store, where I was able to handle the Breitling, Rolex, Omega and AP models I've lusted over for years, and I've finally admitted to myself that even if I DID save the money for a gen model I'd still never be able to justify $5000+ on my wrist, so it's better to look at reps instead. Pic of my collection below (I'm not very experienced at photographing watches so apologies for the quality) - hopefully the free spaces in my watch box will soon be filled with some spectacular watches! So from top left that's an Aviator chrono with leather strap; a Seiko chrono; Casio Wave Ceptor; Guess Chrono (my favourite watch, bought on honeymoon on the QMII); a Fossil chrono with blue face; Sekonda dual-display chrono; rep Tag Heuer Link (from HK and surprisingly reliable!); titanium Skagen chrono with leather strap; an old ultra-thin Skagen dress watch my Dad bought in NYC twenty years ago; Timex Ironman with apparently inexhaustible battery; and a Fossil fashion watch with brown leather strap. Many more will hopefully follow! Cheers Neil
