I spent 10k on my first sub only to have it stolen after 3 yrs, insurance only reembursed me 2k so I don't think I will purchase another only to get jilted by the ins. co. Higs 73 Posted January 3, 2013 Not a Rolex and lost, not stolen but my story is similar to yours. I had an Oris. One day I realised I didn't know where it was and searched the house top-to-bottom a number of times and came to the conclusion that it was lost. I resolved to save up for a new one but then had the bright idea to get myself a rep one while I save. I've now got ~20 reps (various brands but no Oris), still no gen Oris and no savings.
