tesmith2112 0 Posted January 5, 2013 I'm surprised your girlfriend is putting out with all of your watch shenanigans. I love her aryan look BTW. Final comment, where in the hell did you find the world's most basic oven? Looks like an Off and On setting only, or perhaps High and Low..?

DeLaForce 2 Posted January 5, 2013 Joran, it's inevitable when you first start these methods that you go a little overboard, and you will take a few hits. But don't give up Just try cleaning the dial up a little

powderfreak 0 Posted January 5, 2013 Dude, you have a good taste in women - but the watch, uhm.... Maybe you should first check my collection mate.......... I am only referring to the vintage monster here But maybe it's just because I am not a big fan of watches that look heavily used. Apart from that I envy your courage to put watch parts in an oven etc, wouldn't do that myself. Did I see Jesus's face on the dial? The watch could have been around at that time, it seems

AS90 5 Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) Here's how I gave an AK dial some character... I boiled down tea, coffee and turmeric into a syrup and coated the dial, let it dry for a while and gently dabbed off the excess with tissue paper. Just needs a black rubber strap now. How it looked 2 days ago... Edited January 7, 2013 by AS90
