AustinTech 0 Posted March 4, 2010 Well, I picked my G-shock. I hope I like it. I order it via e-bay and it was $90 with free shipping. I like the Mill SPec g-9000ms that Col posted above the best, but everyone says that it is very difficult to read the display. Since I don't do ninja missions anymore, I'll get something more legible. Anyway-here it is. THe "five eyed monster." In the spring and summer I do too much stuff that would break an automatic movement. Instead of nothing, I'll wear this.

flaskevin 0 Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) The G-Shock posted by aneki looks great. I've been looking at the Tissot T-Touch Expert for a while now. Maybe that's an alternative? If you like gadgets, like I do :-) (Get the "Expert", though. It can be used when swimming) http://di1.shopping.com/images1/pi/75/95/a...r=1&d=486.0 Edited March 6, 2010 by flaskevin

Massimo 53 Posted March 14, 2010 Well I like them! Got one of my own that I wear for mountain biking: solar powered so you never need to worry about it running out on you (I know, you guys would like it to run out - of the door). A proper go-anywhere watch that, to be honest, isn't pretty enough to get too worried about it getting battered, which is ideal in this case. So, AT, nice choice I'd wear this G-Shock This thing looks pretty good but it costs around $1,000 minimum! That kind of cash opens up all kinds of gen options, so puts Mr-G down the list a bit. Uhren 0 Posted March 16, 2010 I'd wear this G-Shock According to this official site http://g-shock.jp/ prices for the MR-G are ranging from Y105.000 to Y315.000 (from around $1200 to $3500). Some of them are Titanium made! Anyway too expensive for a Casio

trailboss99 997 Posted March 16, 2010 Ya, it's a nice watch but not THAT nice. You can buy an Ebel, Omega or a Breit for that.
fakemaster 0 Posted March 17, 2010 Which aren't worth 3000. It's all relative. Just larger relative.
trailboss99 997 Posted March 17, 2010 True. Show me any gen that is "worth" the asking price. Half of it is promotion costs. A Sub costs about 6 to 7 hundred to make and 3 grand to advertise. Col.
