Possible Vintage Omega project on the Bay

Recommended Posts

KBH

I just ran across an interesting old movement and dial. This could make an awesome project for those interested in vintage Omegas. Movement size is 11 1/2 ligne, so it might fit in any number of cases. Currently it's only at $26.

The auction ended today, and it sold for $66. I am curious though, is there any way to clean up the dial and how clean it could be? The dial looks so elegant I would want to buy a rep that has similar dial but not for wrist watch though, I would like it to be a pocket watch.

As I recall it was pretty small. Maybe about the size of a Datejust or less. Interesting thing is the same seller had an Omega case set that looked like about the same size. I was thinking about bidding on them both but wasn't sure if it would work. I couldn't understand why the guy would split up a matching set.

I've got an ebay seller in oz that has good quality old omega stuff regularly.

you could find a case easily with a little patience...
