elmerlo 0 Posted January 24, 2013 Hi guys, just received my second order from Silix: a Tag Heuer Link chrono black dial Cal.16 and a Link Lady, quartz. They add up to the first order, a Carrera “cosmetic” Chrono. The quality, especially for the Chrono Link, is superb, I’m not an expert, but the differences from the original are very, very subtle. I won’t make a detailed review, Scavenger’s one is top-notch and I think the watch is the same, after all: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=36534 I will post some photos though, taken without flash (and a cheapy camera), in which you can also see my first TAG, a genuine quartz S/el twenty years old! The dimensions/weight gain over the years is impressive: the S/el wheighs 123 grams, while the Link is at 194... Thank you guys again for this forum and for the trusted dealers list. BR Haltec I went today to a watch shop to resize the bracelet, and the guy talked to me extensively about the patented mechanism TAG has for their Links'bracelets...so I guess it's pretty close to the original one, otherwise... TAG order today at Silix, cheapy stuff: Grand Carrera cal.36 "cosmetic" chrono and Carrera black dial (the one from the movie "Next"). Both were not on the site, but Michelle managed to get them.
