Huttster 0 Posted January 25, 2013 I'm new at this, awaiting a Breitling fromTimeshops What happens when it's time for a battery change? The regular jeweler / watch shop should be comfortable at changing the battery ? I need to tell them it's a replica or they will send to official watch rep? greg_r 81 Posted January 25, 2013 Either change it yourself (easy enough to do) or take it to one of those small watch repair/strap selling booths that you find in most shopping malls. Do NOT take it into a big jeweller or Authorised Dealer!
Corv99 2 Posted January 25, 2013 What Greg say's , but it is not difficult to do yourself, with simple tools...

tanweekiat 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Throw it away....???? :giggle: +1 By the time the battery dead, you would probably be wearing other watches and higher chances they will be automatic movements.
jeffw69 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Which Breitling did you order that takes a battery?
trailboss99 994 Posted January 26, 2013 Are you sure it's a battery watch? Can we see a link to what you bought please?
scorpion 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Which Breitling did you order that takes a battery? Probably none as the guy is a noob so maybe he assumes it will have a battery when all it will need is a quick had job to get it going!
trailboss99 994 Posted January 26, 2013 GMTA Jeff, surprised no one else has said it. You would be surprised at the number of autos I get brought to me for "battery change". Most people go "Oh, do they still make those?"
vonGluberschmidt 0 Posted January 26, 2013 if it "ticks" it has a battery. if it "sweeps" it needs to be worn and wound. /thread.
jeffrx 0 Posted January 26, 2013 Lean how to do the basic stuff, like remove the back of a watch, change batteries, and adjust bracelet sizes. If you can do at least those things, you will enjoy this hobby more.
