What kind of movement do you plan on using? as of right now there are certain limitations to what kind of movement i can use in this watch, the space i have to work with is very small and since I cannot machine some of the parts to the same precision and exact tolerance that Urwerk does there will be more friction on the rotor dial and barrels that rotate. Due to these limitations i needed a movement that has a decent power output as well as being small enough to fit within the UR-202 case, line up nicely with the movement as well as the crown. another issue was that the movement itself had to do 1/3 a rotation every hour instead of the full rotation per hour on the hour hand. i was lucky enough to find a Quartz movement that fit the specs i needed so i was quite happy. the movement is a miyota 9U13 with a few alterations done to it. However this movement will be for the completion of the mk1 prototype. As my prototypes progress and i fine tune all the components i hope to eventually use a swiss eta movement or something similar as that would be much nicer and more official. It has come a long way but there are still many things to be done. i just finished finalizing quotes to get some of the parts machined at a high precision machine shop, so those should be coming in within the next month.
