Are MR Submariner really water resistant to 5 ATMs

I have a MR submariner and LOVE it. But was wondering if anybody has taken it for a swim, bath etc without any issue? Of course QC is not the best when dealing with reps and I'll probably get it tested, but just wanted to know if anybody has had any problems taking theirs for a swim.

With ANY rep: Get it tested first. Many are fine out of the box, but factory QC being what it is, you can't be certain.

I would never trust the water proofing of any watch before getting it tested...

Even some Gens have been known to have issues ..£ 10 test for peace of mind..." worth every penny "

Where in the UK do you get your watches tested?
