KBH 7 Posted March 23, 2010 I like it. I used to have the Cousteau 2006 version and I probably would have kept it if it had the bracelet rather than the awful rubber strap. This is almost like Christmas for you today. Still got another one or two coming?

Luthier 1 Posted March 23, 2010 I like it. I used to have the Cousteau 2006 version and I probably would have kept it if it had the bracelet rather than the awful rubber strap. This is almost like Christmas for you today. Still got another one or two coming? You mean... like this?
oscarmadfish 0 Posted March 23, 2010 hey Luthier how on earth do you change the day on these ?
KBH 7 Posted March 23, 2010 Turn it the opposite direction of the date.
Luthier 1 Posted March 23, 2010 Turn it the opposite direction of the date. Yup. Unscrew the crown, pull it out halfway, and rotate it. Clockwise you'll change date, counterclockwise - day.
oscarmadfish 0 Posted March 23, 2010 Turn it the opposite direction of the date. no that did not work KBH
dingle 57 Posted March 23, 2010 Turn it the opposite direction of the date. no that did not work KBH oscar---did you see Luth's reply above?
KBH 7 Posted March 23, 2010 Turn it the opposite direction of the date. no that did not work KBH Assuming it's a 7750 and not quartz, it must be broken. Sorry As Luthier said, pull it out to the first click. One direction changes the day and the other direction changes the date.
Luthier 1 Posted March 23, 2010 I guess he broke the stem already. Oscar, can you change date, at least? If not - you didn't pull out the crown in exactly halfway.
oscarmadfish 0 Posted March 23, 2010 date changes fine = anti clockwise
oscarmadfish 0 Posted March 23, 2010 date changes fine = anti clockwise i can change it by using the hands changer date changes at 12 and day changes at 2 bit of a pain but not that big a problem
Luthier 1 Posted March 23, 2010 date changes fine = anti clockwise OK, then pull out the crown further, and rotate hands, to see, if the date will change after two full circles. If it won't work - you got a "slipper".
oscarmadfish 0 Posted March 23, 2010 i can change the date and day by rotateing the hands 24hrs
